1. Who We Are
Pytch ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered outreach automation platform operated at https://pytch.cc. We help businesses find relevant contacts and send personalized outreach emails via their own Gmail account.

2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data
When you register, we collect:
- Email address
- First and last name
- Company name and job title
- Password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store your plaintext password)
2.2 Gmail Integration Data
When you connect your Gmail account, we request the following OAuth scopes to provide our core services:
- gmail.send — used to send personalized outreach emails on your behalf.
- gmail.readonly — used to detect replies to your outreach threads so we can stop automated follow-ups and update your dashboard.
- gmail.labels — used to create and manage a "Pytch Conversations" label to organize your outreach.
- gmail.settings.basic — used to ensure your emails are sent with the correct metadata and formatting.
We store:
- Your Gmail OAuth access token and refresh token (encrypted at rest using AES-256)
- Gmail thread IDs and message IDs for threads initiated via Pytch
- Email message bodies for conversations started through Pytch
- Email metadata: sender, recipient, subject, timestamp
We do not read, scan, or store any emails outside of Pytch-initiated outreach threads.
2.3 Outreach Contact Data
As you use the platform to find and contact people, we store:
- Contact details discovered via third-party APIs (name, email, company, title, LinkedIn URL, Twitter handle)
- AI-generated pitch content created for each contact
- Engagement data: whether emails were opened, whether recipients replied
2.4 Usage Data
- Pipeline runs, number of contacts found per project
- Feature usage (which pipeline type, which features enabled)
- Log data for debugging (IP address, timestamps, error messages) — retained for 30 days
2.5 Payment Data
Payment is processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe Customer ID and Subscription ID. We do not store card numbers or full payment details.
3. How We Use Your Data

4. Email Open Tracking
Emails sent via Pytch may contain a 1×1 pixel image (tracking pixel) that allows us to detect when a recipient opens the email. This data is visible only to you in your dashboard.
5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following categories of third-party providers to operate the service:
- Email & Infrastructure: Google (Gmail API) for sending and managing outreach emails.
- Data Enrichment: Specialized providers used to discover professional contact information based on your search criteria.
- Artificial Intelligence: LLM providers used to analyze content and generate personalized pitches.
- Payments: Stripe for secure subscription management.
6. Google API Limited Use Disclosure
Pytch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your personal data depends on the data concerned and the context in which we collect it:
- Contractual Necessity: To provide the Pytch service to you.
- Legitimate Interests: To improve our platform, ensure security, and prevent fraud.
- Consent: Where you have given explicit permission (e.g., connecting your Gmail account).
You have the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time.

Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. This permanently deletes your profile, all project data, and revokes Gmail OAuth access.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption of OAuth tokens at rest (AES-256), HTTPS/TLS for all transmissions, and bcrypt for password hashing.
